Retractable Awning with LED Light Strip and Universal Roof Rack Bracket for Vehicles
The self-standing retractable awnings are designed to attach neatly to most vehicles, fitting onto the side of most roof racks and roof bars. These awnings are conveniently stored for immediate use upon arrival, specifically engineered for harsh Outback conditions. Featuring anodised height-adjustable telescopic legs, Velcro Ties to secure the roof, and thick reinforced aluminium extrusions, the awnings are protected from the outside elements in a heavy-duty nylon-reinforced PVC bag.
Constructed from tough PU-coated 300gsm poly/cotton rip-stop canvas, the awnings are fully waterproof and offer a UVP 50+ rating. ARB Awnings are available in three great sizes, fitting up to 2.1m (82.67") high mounting points. Each awning comes with pegs, guy ropes for securing the legs, stainless steel mounting nuts and bolts, and comprehensive instructions.
Designed for harsh off-road conditions, the awnings are rugged yet lightweight, providing fast and convenient shade and protection from the elements. The 813402 Awning bracket is constructed with welded gussets to offer additional strength when mounted to roof bars on vehicles used off-road or under extreme conditions. Zinc-plated and powder-coated for corrosion resistance, the awning bracket can be mounted either upright or inverted, allowing it to fit over both Thule SquareBar & Rhino Heavy Duty bars in the inverted position, or upright using T-bolts or channel nuts on Thule ProfessionalBar, WingBar & AeroBar or Rhino Heavy Duty.
Pre-drilled to accept 8mm bolts, at least 2, but preferably 3 bolts should be used to mount the bracket to the roof bar for maximum strength. The outer bolt hole between the gussets must always be used for the gusset to be effective. Three slotted 6mm holes are provided to mount the awning. Due to the different bar designs, it is recommended to use T-bolts.
The awning storage cover is made from PVC-lined polyester, and the awning is secured in a heavy-duty nylon-reinforced PVC bag. The self-standing awning takes only 30 seconds to deploy, with adjustable telescopic legs for height. An amber mode is available for comfortable camping or to provide soft lighting when out camping or touring. Once the light is mounted, it packs away easily with the awning.
