Compact 12V On-Board High Performance Air Compressor for Air Lockers, Tire Inflator, and Tools

The ARB CKMTA12 twin on-board compressor kits were designed specifically as a compact-sized yet high-volume compressed air source to suit the high-volume airflow needs of most air-powered tools, and also to suit the actuation and control needs of the ARB Air Locker and the harsh and demanding environment of the ARB Air Locker user. Constructed entirely of lightweight, high strength engineering grade materials, the CKMTA12 HIGH PERFORMANCE AIR COMPRESSOR is a TWIN ON-BOARD COMPRESSOR 12 V unit.

The compressor features a COMPACT TWIN MOTOR design, a FULL WIRING LOOM for simplified installation and easy plug-in connectivity to Air Locker control solenoids, and is water sealed and equipped with THERMAL PROTECTION and a HIGH-TECH MATERIALS construction. The kit includes 1) a WATER SEALED compressor, 2) the COMPACT TWIN MOTOR design, 3) the FULL WIRING LOOM, 4) THERMAL PROTECTION, and 5) HIGH-TECH MATERIALS.

The motors are 100% ball bearing equipped (i.e. no bushings) and feature a unique linear brush pre-load system for extra long life, low heat and quiet operation throughout the life of the unit. The compact twin motor, dual cylinder design makes it the highest flowing compressor in its class (voltage vs. size), achieving the HIGHEST AIR FLOW RATE of any 12V compressor of its size on the market at 174LPM [6.16CFM].

The full wiring loom included simplifies installation and provides easy plug-in connectivity to Air Locker control solenoids. (Note: Air Locker Manifold Kit #171503 required to mount solenoids). The motors are internally thermal protected against extreme temperature damage, and an over-pressure safety valve is also equipped. Dual heavy duty Maxi-Fuses provide professional in-line circuit protection and true circuit redundancy in case of a fault.

The compressor pistons are equipped with a heavy duty European made cylindrical roller bearing. Hard-anodized cylinder bores and PTFE (Teflon) impregnated carbon fibre piston seals provide reduced friction and maximum trouble free life.
