These self-standing retractable awnings, designed to fit neatly onto the side of most roof racks and roof bars, offer convenient and immediate shade upon arrival. Specifically engineered for harsh Outback conditions, the awnings feature anodized height-adjustable telescopic legs, Velcro Ties to secure the roof, and thick reinforced aluminum extrusions, all protected from the outside elements in a heavy-duty nylon-reinforced PVC bag.
Constructed from tough PU-coated 300gsm poly/cotton rip-stop canvas, the awnings are fully waterproof and offer a UVP 50+ rating. Each ARB Awning comes with pegs, guy ropes, stainless steel mounting nuts and bolts, and comprehensive instructions. Designed for rugged off-road conditions, these lightweight yet durable awnings provide fast and convenient shade and protection from the elements.
The Awning Room, designed to function as a fully enclosed room or mosquito net, offers weather protection, privacy, and insect protection. This new awning accessory was created with the needs of recreational 4x4 owners and overland adventurers in mind. Once deployed, the awning room easily attaches to the awning's structure, and the exterior walls and front mesh panel can be rolled up to create an open area under the awning, without any barriers to the rest of the campsite.
To escape annoying mosquitoes, simply zip up the mesh panels. To protect against wind and dust or obtain privacy, lower the exterior walls to create a fully enclosed space. The Awning Room mounts easily to the side of most roof racks or roof bars, and the appropriate ARB Quick Release Bracket allows for the correct mounting of the ARB 2.5m awning to any dual cab trade rack.
Included with each Awning Room are pegs, guy ropes, mounting nuts and bolts, a spanner, and comprehensive instructions. The Awning storage cover is made from Aluminium, and the Awning itself is secured in a heavy-duty nylon-reinforced PVC bag.
The self-standing awning can be deployed in just 30 seconds and features height-adjustable telescopic legs. The Amber mode provides comfortable, soft lighting for camping or late-night use. Once the light is mounted, it packs away easily with the awning every time.
